Xtratuf boots

An American classic that I learned about in Alaska. Turns out, it’s Alaska’s go-to work boot for boats and ships, and it does a great job in all conditions, even a hike! On their website, they say it’s “dubbed the "Alaskan Sneaker" [and] has been performance-tested and proven across the toughest stretches of water, from the Misty Fjords to Kodiak, from the Bering Sea to Harrison Bay.” They’re SO comfortable, easy to slide on, and aren’t slippery on wet surfaces (which seems silly to say but is NOT the case for all waterproof boots, believe it or not).

I use it for a messy garden tasks, rainy days, and tide-pooling. They’re excellent and I’ve had mine for YEARS.
